Well Here I go..finally starting a blog.....I start different sorts of crafts all the time....So far I have made Faberge' Eggs...Beading..Painting...Millinery...Felting...Crochet...
I have been known to go through spurts of sewing....
I love taking Photo's...and always wanted to do a photography course....one day!
I really need to have a garage sale of all the things I don't use anymore!
A few of the things I have made or painted are on my Flickr Page

At the moment I am into cooking...I have never been a good cook - My husband only eats basic Meat and 3 Vege...i.e. Potatoes, Peas and Corn....I am finally training him to eat salads. I have never really bothered to go into more gourmet type meals....but I have been and I still am, an avid collector of foodie magazines and recipe books..
We went out for lunch last week at the Mercure in Port Macquarie..Two Courses plus a wine/beer for $25.
I chose Mains and Sweets....
Sweets was a Lemon and Ouzo Cake with a Citrus Sauce.....and it was divine! So now I am on the lookout for the recipe and I think I found one online today....I will try to cook it and let you know how it went!
Last week I cooked a Pecan Pie for the 1st time....and it soaked through the pastry..so I have to figure out where I went wrong...I read somewhere that after you have blind-baked the pastry - you then remove the baking paper and pop it back into the oven for a few minutes to send it a nice golden colour and this will stop the mixture soaking into the pastry...we will see!
This week I had bananas that were a tad over-ripe and with the price of them at this point in time...I was thinking that I needed to use them up...So....I went back to my High School Days....and made Banana Jam....I had to wing the recipe as I could not find the old recipe I had from school days...It turned out Yummy!
Ok Must away..time to cook the Spag Bol for dinner...
Cheers Annette
